The unit downstairs
A lower-floor refrigerator or wine cabinet is the one that drifts unnoticed. It sits in cabinetry built into a bar run, its condenser breathes through a toe-kick that has a rug in front of it, and the room it is in is cooler in winter and more humid in summer than the kitchen upstairs.
Humidity is the part people do not expect. A cabinet holding wine at cellar temperature in a room at summer dew point will sweat at the seal, and that is a room problem presenting as an appliance problem. We read the room as well as the cabinet before recommending anything.
